Hurricanes

Been on the beach for so long
Washed up with the tide
My feet are cut up from rocks and the salt stings the wound
as I move

I'm walking on though the hurricanes came crashing on me
But my hope stays true
I'll sing our song till eternity claims me
Though I'm beaten and bruised

I can't say this has been easy
Mother told me not to lie
We must keep on living
And I love you though it's my time

What is faith if not tested?
